I feel like this one has even more potential for a bass part that introduces something totally new. It's both very simple and kind of jammy in a way.
The whole song is just two alternating chords played in different ways: G and D (10 and 5 on the A string and 3 and 10 on the E string). In my opinion that makes the dynamics and ryhthm the most interesting part of the song: quiet verse, loud chorus, the stop-start thing that happens with the guitar and drums in the chorus, etc.
